TAS provides a range of services to tenants and workers with tenants in the Western Australian community. TAS operates an Advice Line most mornings between 9.30 and 12.30. The Advice Line may be called on . Country callers can phone between 1.30 and 2.30 on Toll Free Country Advice Line on . TAS may also provide assistance on more complex matters by appointment.
Other services provided by TAS include the provision of community legal education and the production of tenancy publications (such as this Manual). Please contact TAS if you are interested in receiving specialised training for providing advice and assistance to tenants, and/or if you would like details of TAS' other publications. TAS is also a main protagonist for tenancy law and policy reform to improve the position of tenants.
Please note: TAS' Telephone Advice Line gets extremely busy. If callers find it difficult to get through on TAS' Advice Line they may wish to contact the Ministry of Fair Trading Advice Line on 54, or visit one of the Ministry offices. Assistance may also be provided by other community agencies, some of which are listed in the Community Contacts section of this site.
